Our Story
Cinex Plastics Pty Ltd was established in 2002 as a wholly Australian owned and operated food packaging manufacturer. From our manufacturing facility in Braeside — an industrial suburb located just 26 kilometres south-east of Melbourne's central business district — we have spent over two decades building a reputation for product quality, manufacturing consistency, and professional reliability that our clients immediately recognise and appreciate.
Our specialisation is thermoforming: the precision manufacturing process by which plastic sheet is heated and formed into custom tray shapes using bespoke tooling. This process allows us to produce packaging in virtually any shape, size, and material composition — from simple single-compartment trays to complex multi-compartment designs with custom rib structures and barrier layers.
We cater to an extensive range of food manufacturers across Australia, producing thermoformed trays in various sizes and shapes to suit the specific requirements of each client. Our products are made from 100% recyclable materials — PVC, HIPS, PET, PP, and Retortable PP — and can be supplied in clear, black, white, or natural colours, with customised colours available on request.
